Angela Baker
Manager

In her role as a manager, Angela provides turnkey project management support to williamsworks clients, capitalizing on her experiences working in high-profile, complex political operations.
Angela relocated to Seattle from Washington D.C. where she worked on Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton's historic presidential campaign. She managed the senator's overall travel schedule, working directly with the campaign’s political, communications, and advance teams. In this role, Angela traveled extensively, handling both political and event logistics in key states such as New Hampshire, Nevada, Pennsylvania, California and Texas.
Angela began her career in politics serving in the Executive Office of Michigan Governor Jennifer M. Granholm. There she helped to coordinate the Governor's political schedule and special projects, including the states efforts on behalf of victims of Hurricane Katrina. Angela took a leave of absence from the Governor's state office to work on Granholm's successful re-election campaign; a campaign which the Washington Post named as one of the "10 Best" in the 2006 election cycle. Angela later transitioned to the inaugural committee, where she organized special events around the state of Michigan.
A native of Michigan, born and raised near Detroit, Angela holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations and French from Central Michigan University. While in college, she interned for Congressman David E. Bonior in Washington D.C. and studied abroad in Angers, France. She enjoys traveling and cooking and is exploring her new hometown of Seattle.
