Erika Arthun
Director

As Director, Erika provides leadership to the williamsworks team on all client engagements and manages the daily operations of the williamsworks office. Her passion is for bringing philanthropic and policy efforts together to effect change on key social issues, internationally and domestically.
Erika was the first team member hired at williamsworks and has played an integral role in the growth and development of the company. Whether in Africa, Asia, Europe, or North America, her skills in relationship building expand each client’s ability to collaborate to achieve their advocacy goals. From planning an awareness-raising event, to strategic sourcing of a qualified candidate or execution of international learning trips, Erika’s planning and organizational skills ensure that clients connect with the right groups and individuals to help further their cause.
Erika took a year away from williamsworks to enhance her expertise in state and local policy issues by working on the front lines in child welfare and education as the legislative manager for the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, Children Administration and as the coalition leader on a successful education funding campaign. Erika returned to williamsworks in early 2007 poised to apply her experience on policy and advocacy to help williamsworks’ clients achieve their goals.
Previously Erika worked for Casey Family Programs, the nation’s largest operating foundation serving children and families. There she was instrumental in planning and launching the Marguerite Casey Foundation. Erika also helped implement a foster care awareness campaign around a major motion picture, incorporating screenings, outreach, partnership development, and a national public opinion poll.
Erika serves on the board of the University District Food Bank. A native of Montana, she graduated with a bachelor’s of business administration, with honors, from Gonzaga University.
