Kate brings her enthusiasm and talent for communication to the Project Assistant position at williamsworks, where she contributes her energy to research, project support and administrative duties. As a Teach for America corps member on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota for two years and through a management position with Teach for America's summer training institute, Kate has honed her ability to maintain a sense of purpose and focus on results in a challenging environment.

Kate graduated from Lewis & Clark College in 2006 with a degree in International Affairs. She wrote her thesis on the intersection of gender and the environment and the influence of these factors on the effectiveness of international development agencies.
