Mike Wagner

HR Consultant

With more than 35 years of experience in the human resources field, Mike is a true HR generalist with a broad base of expertise in recruitment, performance management, compensation, employment, labor relations, employee recognition, and other related disciplines. Mike recently retired from his full-time work as an HR leader, but he continues to provide expert advice and strategic counsel to williamsworks’ clients and a number of other organizations.

Following his graduation from Bradley University, Mike spent the first twenty-one years of his career in the heavy manufacturing industry, including six years with United States Steel Corporation and fifteen years with PACCAR Inc. For the last fourteen years, he was the HR officer for Casey Family Programs, one of the largest operating foundations in the country.

Upon his retirement, Casey Family Programs honored Mike by naming an annual employee award after him. He has coauthored a chapter in a university textbook and, in July 2006, he joined the Board of Community Living, a Washington-based nonprofit agency that provides residential support services to people with developmental disabilities.
