Senior Project Manager
Nicole Bernier, Esq. was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law in 2010 and practiced corporate law for over eight years in New York City with the law firms of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP and Meister Seelig & Fein LLP. While in law school, she also participated in the International and Comparative Business Law program at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany, where she gained a global perspective on business and legal affairs.
As a corporate attorney, she has successfully advised clients at all stages of development of their business. Volunteering as a pro bono attorney, she worked with the Safe Passage Project, defending unaccompanied minors in removal proceedings, and with LatinoJustice PRLDEF, following the passing of Hurricane Maria, to assist Puerto Rico evacuees in New York City with FEMA appeals and local and federal assistance programs.
Maintaining sound judgment and a keen attention to detail, she draws upon her strong intuition and knowledge to spot issues and focus on solutions in a fast-paced environment to ensure the success of her clients. Nicole brings a firm desire to translate her skills and experience into meaningful work for the greater good, approaching each challenge mindfully and with a positive outlook, in the hopes of advancing change on a global scale.
