Senior Project Manager
As project manager, Shannon drives a variety of client engagements with key influencers, companies and nonprofit organizations seeking to create positive change in the world around them. She is experienced in helping companies develop strategic corporate giving programs and forging meaningful partnerships that advance social good. Shannon has also planned several learning trips for VIPs to visit their social impact programs across Latin America and Africa.
Before joining williamsworks, Shannon conducted field research in Northern India for the Central Himalayan Rural Action Group (CHIRAG), interviewing local farmers and business owners to evaluate the impact of CHIRAG’s micro-enterprise program. Shannon has also spent time in rural Sierra Leone, conducting interviews with teachers, students and parents to assess opportunities to increase access to education for the local population.
Shannon graduated with honors from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in international studies. Her honors thesis examined land rights issues affecting Rwandan women after the state’s internationally-acclaimed land reform efforts.
