Mona comes back to williamsworks having been a part of its start up in 2003. Mona has spent her time since working in athletics, marketing, research, coaching and becoming a mom. She has spent most of her adult life in the Pacific Northwest. A recent job change, though, gave her and her family the opportunity to explore the east coast with a relocation from Oregon to New Jersey.
Mona is a third generation Montanan from homesteaders out of Blue Creek. She was born and raised in Missoula, Montana and a graduate of Hellgate High School. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a BA in Sociology and a minor in Communications. Mona worked in athletics for the first part of her career at both Oregon and UCLA. She has always had athletics woven into her various careers, first as a player, then as an advocate and now as a coach. Mona also attended and graduated from Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling with a master’s degree in Social and Psychological Studies.
Mona has worked and volunteered in various fields and capacities in her career. Her work has included corporate, community, non-profit, for profit and for fun! Work is a means to inspire, create and evolve and she continues to do that in her consulting role with williamsworks. Monas diverse background, interest and curiosity of people and places, gives her an ability to connect and build positive experiences with everyone she works for.
Mona, her husband Jeff, and their three children currently live in Montclair, New Jersey. They love anything and everything outdoors. They enjoy keeping a curious and exploratory mindset for every urban or suburban adventure. Mostly though, you can catch them on a soccer field any given weekend.
